Klipsch is Outstanding!
I bought these to replace my Digital Boston Acoustics that died after 8 years of use. I wanted something comparable to them. This system beat them hands down. You cannot go wrong on this system. The sound is tremdous and more then enough bass from the Sub to tick the neighbors off.

I bought these for my office a year ago. I like them so much that I just ordered a second set for my home PC.

I'm a longtime fan of Klipsch, and they still exceeded my expectations. They don't just sound great compared to the crappy speakers that you get for free with a new computer-- they sound great, period. I've heard many home stereos that aren't as good. I listen to all kinds of music, and these speakers do a great job of handling anything I can throw at them.

I notice that a lot of reviews have complaints about the power switch being inconveniently located on the subwoofer. This is true, but there's really no need to shut them off during normal use. They don't draw any significant amount of power when they're not being used, and it won't hurt anything to leave them on. Mine have never been shut off in the year I've had them.

My only complaint is that the speaker wires use chintzy 1/8" headphone-style connectors, which don't make the best contact. Occasionally one of the speakers will sound quiet and distorted, so I have to twist the plug back and forth to restore the connection. It's not a big deal, but it's odd considering everything else is so well designed.

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Speaker System really does it for me !! Combined with G-Force...it is all you need to enjoy your music straight from your computer. Beautiful clarity, beautiful base, easy to set up..even a woman can do it ! Volume...full, ...Price...appropriate, Enjoyment level...perfect !!!!!!!!! It is all you need....I love it !!!!!!!!! Oh,...and by the way, often I wonder if these reviews are written by an employee...I am not. This is a very enjoyable and satisfying product.

Great sound quality for me.
This is the first digital recorder I have ever owned, and I think it's the neatest thing since sliced white bread. This is just a wonderful little recorder.

I don't know what planet the other reviewers are from, or maybe they're hearing impaired from listening to earsplitting music volumes.The playback on this little recorder sounds great to me. I picked it up for much less than the listed price. It arrived and I took it right out of the package.

I treated it just like my digital watch, and if you think of it that way it's much easier to set up.

I have mine set to: no AVR, dictation mode, and HQ recording. I haven't tried it in a noisy environment yet. I write as a hobby, and I wanted something small, and portable. to carry around to record ideas when they strike, so that I don't have to scrabble for pen and paper. I also plan to use it to record reminders for appointments, events, and to send voice emails to friends and family.

Even on the HQ setting there is plenty of room for what I need to record. The HQ setting gives me 17.5 hours of recording time for heaven's sake. How much recording time do I really need when I can transfer my files to my computer and burn them to a CD or DVD? Anyway you can get much more recording time on the lower quality recording modes. I haven't used those though, so I can't say what the playback sound quality is like.

The speaker is on the front of the unit, and the microphone is at the top. It has connections available for an external mike, and headphones. I haven't used those yet, but I'll bet the sound quality is even better with headphones, and the recording quality and playback sound is good but I bet an external mike would make it even better.

This unit records in MP3 format and transfers directly to the computer. No software is needed to transfer files, just the USB cable included in the package.

I can hear everything I have recorded clearly.

The unit is light and small, and has an on/off switch. It also has a lock button switch located on the side, to lock all the buttons. That way your settings aren't messed up by buttons being accidentally pushed when it's in a pocket, or being jostled in a back pack or purse.

It has four folders, the folders are fairly simple to navigate.

The time can be set in 12 or 24 hour format.

The recorded messages are easy to erase.

This unit is fairly intuitive to operate.

It comes with a USB cable to transfer recordings to your computer. Transferring files is easy and I've done it without a hitch. The MP3 files can be played on anything that takes an MP3 format. winamp, real player, windows media player, etc. Or they can be burned to a CD or DVD. No proprietary file formats to fool with or software to download. If you want a WAV format download "Switch" which is a free file converter, and convert the MP3 to a wav file. It's really that simple.

This unit sounds great, is easy to operate, has plenty of recording time, records and transfers files in MP3 format, and is reasonably priced. What more could I ask for in a recorder?

Soooo you guys that spend 60.00 or more on a recorder that you have to use software with, because of proprietary recording formats, and more than that for one that records and transfers to the computer in MP3 format. Well, you're welcome to them. This little unit is everything I could ask for as far as a recording device goes.

I bought this because I knew and trusted the uniden name. I've been very happy with it. The phone works very well. It's so light that I feel like I'm going to break it. But we've dropped it on the ceramic tile floor and it still works! The messages on the machine can occasionally be difficult to hear, but I'm not convinced that it's not the caller's fault. No bells and whistles, just your basic cordless phone, but I'm very happy with it.

Small Sony speakers Good Enough!
Just purchased and set up a 5.1 living room theater / music system with these little speakers as the left & right front and L / R surrounds. For per pair, they sound surprisingly good. I know good sound. I'm an experienced musician. I used to be an audio nut. Owned expensive speakers made by boutique small shops.

My wife did not accept the idea that our new living room sound system was going to be populated with 4 PSB Stratus gold Towers, plus the Big PSB center channel speaker below the 47 inch LCD monitor, so I bought the Sony little speakers here, along with the CN 5000 center channel and the 12 inch Sony Subwoofer. I'm breaking them in right now with various rock and folk recordings. I can live with the sonics. The speakers are clear voiced, have no annoying dips or peaks in the audio spectrum.

Again, these speakers are an amazing bargain for per pair.

I'm Really Impressed
For the cost of this set of speakers you won't find a better buy. These little units have amazing clarity, great bass response, and put out huge volumes of sound for their size. Great speakers!

Great little speakers
We use these speakers in our home office. They do a great job. They do not pump out as much base as our old tower speakers, but they still sound great.

Good Value
I purchased these because of space limitations. Replaced my two floor standing Sony speakers with these. Can't say they are better than the larger speakers, but didn't expect them to be. Good value for the money and they do an adequate job particularly if you have a sub-woofer for good bass.

Terrific Speakers
The bass end isn't going to blow you away but these are perfect for my game room/home office tv & stereo system. I replaced some bulky big-box loudspeakers that had become an eyesore and cleared some square footage on the floor. Very pleased with the purchase.

Not bad for the price
I've had this phone system (ia5882) for a few months, and it works just fine. I have the base unit within 5' of our TV, and one of the handsets near two computers. I haven't experienced any "out of range" or connectivity issues at all (our home is a single-story dwelling, so I can't comment on how they might work in a 2-story home, which may make a difference).

These phones do not have speakerphone or mute capabilities, which I would have preferred. However, at this price, I guess I shouldn't expect every feature to be available.

You can get more than what you pay for.
These might be the least expensive speaker stands of this type on Amazon, but no need to worry: these are quality stands. Get them now before someone realizes what a deal they are and raises the price! They are sturdy, and the bases are nicely weighted to keep from having any tip-over moments. Also included is enough hardware to mount just about any standard speaker, so you should be free from hunting at the hardware store. A good value all around.

Awesome product, bought 2 pairs for each pair about 2 weeks ago and they are unobtrusive, functional, and easy to use.

Trying to buy one more pair but it seems like Amazon has increased the price 4 fold...

What a bargain. Very well built and sturdy speaker stands. Out of all the options, this is the best deal. Don't hesitate!

inexpensive and to the point
I like this product for the build quality and low price, but I have larger speakers so I didn't like that I had to drill the bottom of them to screw them on. Overall I would recommend these.

I use this radio for police duty....It handles my needs in a 20 mile radius.... easy to use..
